The Details You Were Never Meant to Miss
Everything on this site and inside every page of Desire & Protection has a reason. Most analytical readers will pick it up. And if they do, I’d be so proud. This world was built for readers with a deep understanding of human psychology, for those who read between the lines.
But you’re here, which means you’re the kind of reader this world was built for.
The Character Backgrounds Are Not Random.
Every character page on this site has a specific background color. It wasn’t chosen for aesthetics. It was chosen for truth.
Roman and Danny live in moody, grey tones, morally complex men carrying weight they haven’t put down yet. Aniella exists in soft pink: warmth, vulnerability, the quiet danger of a good heart in the wrong situation. Vincenzo’s background page is black, because some people don’t deserve the light. This color is meant for my villains.
Aniella Was Designed After Me.
When I commissioned her illustration, I sent my illustrator photos of myself. Her face, her presence. And if you look closely at the cross around her neck, that’s mine too. I wanted her to wear it to carry a piece of my personal life into her character, to make her truly feel real to me.
Aniella isn’t just a character I wrote. She’s something I put myself inside of. Every impossible choice she faces, I was standing right behind her when she faced it.
More details coming.
Keep paying attention.
