Fall Festival

My Fall Festival party was part cozy dinner, part harvest carnival. I rimmed the cocktail glasses with honey and rolled the lips in pumpkin spice and nutmeg, then added organic cinnamon sticks as straws. Outside, everyone competed in a rally race that started with a hilarious-to-watch potato sack hop in rain ponchos, hit the turnaround point at a rope in the middle of the yard, and finished with a spoon-and-egg sprint to the finish. The last challenge? Bobbing for apples—in couples-only groups, of course. No one likes backwash.
